1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using MaterPet's mobile application and website (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access the Services.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Services.

2. Description of Services

MaterPet provides a map-based platform that helps pet owners discover pet-friendly locations, including restaurants, shops, hospitals, parks, and other venues. Our Services include:

• Interactive maps showing pet-friendly locations
• User-generated reviews and ratings
• Pet profile management
• Location search and filtering
• Business listing and management tools

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion.

You may submit reviews, ratings, photos, pet profiles, and other content ("User Content") to our Services. You retain ownership of your User Content, but by submitting it, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, display, and distribute your User Content in connection with our Services.

Content Guidelines

You agree that your User Content will not:

• Be defamatory, obscene, or offensive
• Infringe on any third party's intellectual property rights
• Contain spam, advertising, or promotional material
• Contain malware, viruses, or harmful code
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these guidelines.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

• The Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• The results obtained from the Services will be accurate or reliable
• Any listed locations are actually pet-friendly or suitable for your pet

Important: Always verify pet policies directly with establishments before visiting. Pet policies may change without notice, and we cannot guarantee the accuracy of user-submitted information.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MATERPET SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.

Our total liability for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve (12) months prior to the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MaterPet and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Services
• Your User Content
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Services immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Services will cease immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which MaterPet operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

14. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Services shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and MaterPet regarding the Services and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
